    Summary:
  • Tokens.com, a subsidiary of the Metaverse Group, will be hosting the second edition of the Metaverse-based fashion showcase event.

Tokens.com, the organizer of the previous Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) held in Decentraland, has confirmed that there will be a second edition of the event. The event will take place from March 28th to March 31st, 2023, and Tokens.com will be the host. The company currently has investments in web3 assets and creates businesses associated with crypto staking, the metaverse, and play-to-earn gaming. Several acclaimed design houses and companies with a global following will return in 2023, as will some lesser-known names.

To what end does Tokens.com want to promote MVFW?

At MVFW 2023, you may see the most cutting-edge works in digital fashion design and metaverse interoperability. To top it all off, Miami Fashion Week will be present in both the real world and the virtual one for the first time ever, thanks to an exclusive activation designed in partnership with the Metaverse Group. The event is free for all attendees. Also, the event will be accessible from any desktop without any additional software or equipment.

Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Tokens.com and Executive Chairman of Metaverse Group, said: “As the metaverse develops, users are valuing digital merchandise at the same or higher value than physical goods. We are pleased to see the return of Metaverse Fashion Week and the ongoing successful growth of Metaverse Group.”

Over 108,000 individuals attended the first-ever Metaverse Fashion Week 2022, which took place earlier this year. These attendees experienced the metaverse’s take on the rapidly developing fields of wearable technology and digital fashion. Guests included representatives from dozens of high-end labels, including Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Selfridges, Guo Pei, Paco Rabane, and more. The event served as a platform upon which the fashion houses showcased their futuristic and contextually informed visions of what fashion in the digital age might look like and represent.

Tokens.com is a cryptocurrency company that focuses on crypto staking, the metaverse, and play-to-earn crypto games. It currently trades on three major public exchanges. Each of these three areas is part of the company’s digital assets and operational enterprises. The event saw the issuance of over 165,000 free wearables during this year’s MVFW by established designers and up-and-coming digital brands.
