SubQuery Adds Support For Cosmos, With Juno Benefitting First

SubQuery, a blockchain developer toolkit, has just announced the release of its most recent generation of multi-chain connections. This update brings with it compatibility for the Cosmos ecosystem, beginning with Juno. Henceforth,  CosmWasm and Polkadot developers will be able to use a beta version of the same open and quick indexing technology. Among these are the open-source software development kit (SDK), software development tools, documentation, and developer support.

Juno and SubQuery’s growth plans

SubQuery’s managed service, which hosts infrastructure at an enterprise level and processes more than 400 million requests every day, is will be accommodating Juno. Juno is a decentralized, public, and permissionless layer 1 enabling cross-chain smart contracts. The SubQuery Network will allow Juno apps to entirely decentralize their SubQuery architecture in just a few months. With the this network, the developer community will be able to index and verify project data in an incentive-driven and verifiable manner.

Initially, SubQuery will only support Juno’s implementation of Cosmos. However, it will eventually support any CosmWasm-based chains, such as Cronos, OKExChain, Osmosis, Secret Network, Stargaze, and Injective. This internet of blockchains, powered by a powerful hub, employs a standardised communication protocol to ensure inter-chain security for all network participants.

Developers working with several layer-1 blockchains can use SubQuery’s decentralized data indexing architecture to help speed up their projects. As an indexing solution on Polkadot, it already serves hundreds of millions of searches per day for projects like Moonbeam and Acala. Therefore, it has already proven its capabilities. SubQuery’s tools are designed for multi-chain applications and may be used to organize, store, and query on-chain data.

When it comes to data processing, SubQuery lets developers focus on the front-end and use case without having to design a custom back-end. This means that developers can start using the network from the onset.
