Pixelverse, the new quest-based battler game spearheaded by former StepApp CEO Kirill Volgin, is gearing up for a launch on Raiser.co. Pixelverse will be the second launch on the platform; scheduled for April alongside the alpha release of the Pixelverse Playground.
Pixelverse engages players in an immersive cyberpunk universe where they can explore the gritty streets of Xenon, engage in narrative-driven quests and PvE battles, collect valuable NFT items, and train their unique ‘bots’ to battle other players in the arena.
In Pixelverse, players enter Xenon as freelancers, with the game focusing on acquiring rare items to craft bots and then upgrading and merging the bots to produce the ultimate battler for the arena. Freelancers and bots, along with all of the in-game items are stored on-chain as NFTs, utilizing Pixelchain and the Pixelverse SDK to ensure low-cost transactions for users and seamless integrations with third-party products utilizing the SDK. Pixelverse utilizes a unique ‘Risk to Earn’ model to add a competitive dimension, and players are able to stake tokens on themselves to win, while the winner takes all the spoils.
Under the leadership of founder and CEO Kirill Volgin, Pixelverse is poised to make a significant impact in Web3 Gaming. Kirill’s previous venture, the hit move-to-earn project Step App, generated a staggering $3.85 billion in volume within its first two weeks, showcasing his ability to drive innovative and successful projects.
Kirill had this to say about the upcoming launch on Raiser “This is a brand new milestone for me. Step App has shown itself to be the only move to earn project with an active userbase, sustainable and growing economy and offering true innovation, it has been the market leader for a long time. I’ve taken all of this experience and decided to give myself a new challenge and launch Pixelverse, along with an expert team with deep experience in the web3 and gaming space. We are really looking forward to creating a cool game for everyone to play, not just web3 users but gamers with no experience in web3, and we really think that Raiser’s Fair Community Offering is the right approach for our go to market to engage with our new users and fans.”
Mahamadou Cissé joins the team alongside Kirill as Pixelverse’s CMO. Mahamadou is the ex-strategy director of Ethereum unicorn Cross The Ages and brings with him a wealth of experience and insight. Mahamadou helped the collectible NFT card game secure the support of 60 VC firms, sell over 30 million digital trading cards, and seal a collaboration with leading publisher Ubisoft.
