Pi coin price depends on a lot of variables, some of which are still unknown. Nevertheless, considering the valuations of other crypto projects, we can also take a shot at the future Pi Network value. The project has one of the most loyal communities, which is always a prerequisite for a great crypto project.
Pi Network has been around since 14 March 2019. Since then, it has developed into one of the most hyped projects in the crypto space. Its unique mining feature allows anyone with a mobile phone and internet to generate new coins every day. Users need to simply log into their Pi Network app on their cellphones and tap on the screen to mine the cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrencies are digital assets that reside on a decentralized blockchain network. Till now, the blockchain of Pi Network has not been launched for the general public. According to the Pi Coin team, its blockchain is still in the enclosed mainnet, which means the real Pi coins have not even been generated yet.
You must be thinking then, how is the coin available for trading on some exchanges if it’s not even released yet? The answer to that question is that the Pi coin to USD pairs currently available on different exchanges are just derivatives. This means that these pairs are not real coins but let you bet on the future Pi coin price.
The current Pi Network price can be taken from the relevant pairs listed on exchanges like Houbi and BitMart etc. BitMart’s Pi/USDT pair has the highest volume in the last 24 hrs. As mentioned earlier, this is not the real price and is only a tool for speculation. You can’t withdraw or sell your Pi coins on any exchanges until the mainnet is launched.
The true Pi coin price prediction depends on the total circulating supply of Pi coins. If there are billions of coins in circulation, then the price can never be more than a few cents due to a huge supply. However, the price can be much higher if the number of coins in circulation is less than a billion. Considering the network’s growth and popularity, the first case seems more probable.
Since Pi Network blockchain hasn’t been launched yet, I’ll keep you posted about all the latest development in my free Telegram group that you’re welcome to join.
