Zurich-based metaverse developer Sensorium has announced the public playtest release of its virtual reality multiplayer game, Sensorium Galaxy. The release not only lays out a new metaverse concept but it also provides access to previously unavailable VR and content features within existing virtual worlds.

Metaverse as seen via Sensorium’s unconventional lens

Using state-of-the-art XR and AI technologies, Sensorioum says it provides users with the most advanced virtual entertainment and social interaction yet. Sensorium Galaxy’s metaverse project is the industry’s first and only global XR multiplayer platform that provides users with cross-platform access to rich, multi-sensory virtual worlds and content hubs.

With Sensorium’s new platform, users can now choose the digital footprint they leave behind and let future generations engage with it. They can, therefore, play out various life scenarios in virtual worlds, create their digital selves and attain digital immortality. In addition, the virtual worlds in Sensorium Galaxy are all themed and loaded with curated material.

PRISM, a virtual environment focused on music, is Sensorium’s first completed project and the first open destination. When inside, guests can see Sensorium’s innovative AI avatars perform round-the-clock at the cosmic Sensorium Party. Notable international artists, including David Guetta, Carl Cox, and Black Coffee, have all announced upcoming performances at PRISM.

In order to fuel the next generation of networking and content creation for users and artists alike, the company is intent on allowing social AI as a core technology. For this reason, Sensorium Galaxy is becoming the first AAA inhabited metaverse, populated by a group of cognitively-controlled avatars.

The Salvador Dali Experience is the company’s VR platform where visitors may interact with computer-generated avatars of revived artists and thinkers and discuss any topic they like. Sensorium Galaxy, a mobile app for the Sensorium metaverse, and its public playtest are both available to users on the Stream platform.
