    Summary:
  • MetaMetaverse has dropped its NFT collection in OpenSea. Dubbed “MetaShip”, it promises great use cases. We tell you about this

The Metaverse development platform, MetaMetaverse has announced the release of a collection of 5,000 unique NFTs onto the OpenSea NFT marketplace. From May 9-13, anyone interested in purchasing a MetaShip NFT will be able to do so for just 0.1ETH. In order to acquire land in the Metametaverse at a later time, you will need to purchase MetaShips, which are the world’s first cross-chain upgradable NFTs. Additionally, having a MetaShip gives the holder access to tier 1 metaverse drops and the ability to purchase a metaverse within the next few months. NFT prizes and drops coordinated by MetaMetaverse will be available to MetaShip owners.

What the MetaMetaverse NFT drop brings

With this drop, MetaMetaverse is able to make significant strides forward in the NFT business. Users will be able to travel between the MetaMetaverse ecosystem’s various metaverses using specialized space vessels. The MetaShip runs on the Ethereum blockchain, but users can upgrade them on any other blockchain. As a safeguard against tampering, all token IDs will be permanently stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

MetaMetaverse CEO and Founder Joel Dietz stated, “MetaMetaverse is the first step to building a spacefaring civilization. The MetaShips are your ticket to getting there.”

By their individuality and colors, one can differentiate the tokens from one another in the collection. There will be 50% of the overall supply in the “Common” category, which includes blue and grey battleships. MetaShips in green, yellow, and red colours will make up the “Uncommon” tier, which will account for 45% of the supply. Only 4.54% of the total supply will be allocated to the “Rare” category. This category will be available in black and silver. Finally, “Ultra Rare” MetaShip NFTs will be 0.5% of the total supply and will be in gold.

The upgradeability of MetaShips will have an impact on a warship’s speed and combat capability. Additionally, MetaShips allow for the exploration of multiple metaverses and act as a virtual passport for the new virtual civilization.
