BidX, a fast-growing company in the forex and CFD industry, has hired James Roddy to become its new head of institutional sales. The new hire brings in a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. 

James Roddy joins BidX

BidX, a leading London-headquartered company in the liquidity industry, has brought in James Roddy to become the head of institutional sales.

Roddy describes himself as a dependable, trustworthy, and multi-faceted team player with vast experience in the forex, commodities, and derivatives industries. 

An FCA-licensed individual, Roddy started his career at TP ICAP in 1997. Over the years, he has worked in companies like BGC Partners (Cantor Fitzgerald), ODL Securities, Valbury Capital, ICM Capital, VIBHS Financial, and Bosonic. 

As the head of institutional sales, James Roddy will be responsible for growing the business among key companies in the financial services industry.

BidX business has been growing. Most recently, the company hired Robert Brown to be the head of strategic development and Arun Lakhani to be its operations manager. It is also hiring a Junior Financial Comptroller. In a statement, BidX CEO, Simon Blackledge said:

“I’m delighted to be welcoming James Roddy to our team as our new Head of Institutional Sales. He has a remarkable network within the financial services industry and expert knowledge of the financial markets that is next to none.”

On Monday, we reported that ATFX had hired Telmo Simoes to become the head of its institutional sales in the LATAM region.
