    Summary:
  • Guarda Wallet has launched its Visa prepaid card for several countries in Europe. We tell you how you can get one and the benefits it brings.

Guarda Wallet is now offering its very own prepaid Visa card, and the company has announced. Users can load funds onto the card directly from their Guarda Wallet. They can then immediately convert their cryptocurrencies into euro. Both plastic and virtual versions of the card are available. Following a successful completion of the registration process, the mobile app will generate the virtual card. On the other hand the physical card will be delivered to the address given by the applicant.

Guarda Card and the relevance of crypto cards

Guarda is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet that supports over 50 different blockchains and 400,000 different assets. In a nutshell, it’s a platform where users can do anything from sending and receiving cryptocurrency to buying, selling, exchanging, and storing it. Users need to check if they are residents of one of the supported countries before applying for the card. After that, they need to apply for the card using the Guarda Wallet mobile app, which they may get by downloading it.

The card provides ease of use and cheap transaction fees. The fees for using the Guarda  card are lower than those levied by most banks, which typically range from 1.5% to 2.5%. You can use your Guarda Card wherever Visa is accepted, including at ATMs, point-of-sale terminals, and online merchants. Obtaining a crypto debit card is increasingly becoming a priority for many cryptocurrency investors. This is because of the benefits they provide.

Furthermore, the cards ensure seamless interfacing between the mainstream financial system and digital assets. This development also suggests that more institutions may start accepting cryptocurrency payments. In the long run, this will sustain crypto asset price stability and could possibly lessen market volatility.

The Guarda Card will be available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
