In the American calendar, US Fed officials (Bostic, Bullard, Quarles) are due to speak today, while the main event is the testimony by the FED Chair Jerome Powell before the Congress. Traders will focus to his comments about the interest rates and the US and global economic outlook. The speeches by the Fed officials will be also closely heard.
In Canada, the housing starts and building permits data will be published at 12:30GMT while the US JOLTS job openings data will be published at 14:00GMT and API crude stockpiles at 20:30GMT.
The Australia National Australia Bank’s Business Conditions came in at 3 in June matching expectations. Aussie business confidence index fell to 2 in June as analysts’ expected from 7 in May.
