European calendar starts with the USDCHF traders awaiting the Switzerland July CPI figures at 6:30GMT and Switzerland July manufacturing PMI at 7:30GMT. At 8:00GMT Italy June industrial production data is due, and UK July construction PMI will be released at 8:30GMT. The Eurozone June PPI figures and June retail sales data due at 9:00GMT.

In the American calendar Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) and Unemployment Rate will be released at 12:30GMT.  Factory Orders m/m and Michigan Consumer Sentiment due at 14:00GMT.

Oil traders await the Baker Hughes US Oil Rig Count at 17:00

President Trump, decided yesterday to add another 10% tariffs on the remaining USD300bn worth of US imports from China, starting September 1st.

Australian Retail sales increased 0.4% in June, while Australia Producer Price Index (year over year) came in at 2% above forecasts of 1.9% in 2Q. New Zealand’s ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence down 6 points for July to 116, below the historical average.
