The central bank of China set the Yuan rate (USDCNY) at 7.0572 at the lowest level in 11 years, versus yesterday fix at 7.0490.
Singapore Consumer Price Index (YoY) came in at 0.4, below forecasts of0.55 in July.
Japan National Consumer Price Index (YoY) came in at 0.5% in line with expectations in July.
New Zealand Retail Sales (QoQ) declined to 0.2% in 2Q from previous 0.7%.
Investors closely watch the developments on US – China trade war, Brexit news, Italian politics and speeches in Jackson Hole later this week.
EURUSD is trading 0.09% lower at 1.1067, the USDJPY is 0.20% higher at 106.64 while the AUDUSD is 0.01% higher at 0.6756.
