In the American forex calendar we have from Canada the CMHC Housing Starts at 12:15GMT and Building Permits m/m due at 12:30GMT. In the US we have the PPI m/m and Core PPI m/m due at 12:30GMT.
In our central bank calendar, the BOE’s Tenryro and ECB’s Lane both speak at 9:30GMT while Fed Chair Powell will deliver a speech at 18:30GMT.

Australia business confidence came in at 0 the previous reading was 1 while the business conditions came in at 2 from the previous reading of 1. The Japan Household spending for August came in at +1.0% y/y above expectations of -1.0%.
Asian indices are trading higher today; Nikkei is 1.16% higher at 21,621. EURUSD trades 0.01% higher at 1.0980; the USDJPY is 0.14% higher at 107.39 while the AUDUSD is 0.26% higher at 0.6750.
The central bank of China set the Yuan rate (USDCNY) at 7.0726.
