eToro, one of the leading multi-asset brokers, has announced a product expansion, which includes CFDs on the stocks of 77 companies trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). However, the broker says that currently, trading in such assets is restricted to contracts for difference (CFDs). The addition of CFDs comes a few weeks after eToro added eight new commodities to its offerings.
Traders will also have the option of purchasing $VIX.FUT. Measured in real time, the VIX index reflects the anticipated volatility of the S&P 500 index. It’s a timely indicator for market stress and uncertainty, therefore investors commonly refer to it as the “fear gauge.”
