    Summary:
  • Coinbase has announced plans to gradually phase out Coinbase Pro. We tell you more about the exchange’s decision, including a new wallet.

Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange, has stated that it will eventually stop offering its Coinbase Pro service and instead enhance the user experience on its web and mobile platforms. In the coming weeks, Coinbase will introduce “Advanced Trade” to its platforms. It comes with additional enhancements, to make it an upgrade from Coinbase Pro for all customers.

Advanced Trade and a redesigned Coinbase wallet

Coinbase introduced Coinbase Pro in 2018 as a tool for more experienced traders to perform technical analysis and perform trades by engaging directly with the order book of the Coinbase Exchange.   The functionalities of Coinbase Pro are coming over to Coinbase.com and the Coinbase app as Coinbase Pro ends. Staking, borrowing, a dapp wallet, and the Coinbase Card are among the key features. The company believes that these modifications will encourage a more in-depth participation with the cryptocurrency market.

Earlier this year, Coinbase launched the Advanced Trade tool on Coinbase.com, allowing users to trade more efficiently. All of the features of Coinbase Pro are included in Advanced Trade. Furthermore, you’ll also have access to the smoothest Coinbase experience yet, making it easier than ever to trade with confidence. For consumers who want to learn more about the crypto market before investing, TradingView’s charting and real-time order books provide more in-depth technical analysis.

Additionally, Advanced Trade enables better order flows, which makes it much simpler and more efficient to place market, limit, or stop limit orders directly on the Coinbase Exchange.

Meanwhile, the exchange has released a revamped wallet. Among the new features are an updated dapp browser and live price charts. Additionally, it has a DeFi tab on the home screen and play-to-earn (P2E) games feature. Additionally, customers will have an easier time managing their Ethereum and Polygon NFTs as a result of the makeover.
