- Summary:
- Galaxy Rendered CEO Andrew Woodward has also joined the CEDEN Advisory Board and this is the third acquisition in two months by CEDEN.
CEDEN Network Ltd, a NaaS open-source infrastructure provider, has acquired Galaxy Rendered Limited for an undisclosed amount. Innovators in Web3 gaming, Galaxy Rendered Limited are the creators of the popular Play to Earn (P2E) player-versus-player (PVP) game Rocket Monsters. With the addition of a fully owned Web3 development studio, this purchase aims to fortify the backbone of the EDEN Content Creation Ecosystem.
After selling his company to CEDEN, Andrew Woodward, the company’s founder and CEO, will be joining the CEDEN Advisory Board. He will be advising the Galaxy Rendered team on the evolution of Rocket Monsters and the environment they have built.
Following the change in ownership, the CEDEN team has gained tremendous depth and experience thanks to the retention of the Galaxy Rendered development and art teams. Andrew believes that by utilising the CEDEN Web3 toolkits and peer-to-peer network, users will have access to a streamlined, exciting gaming experience.
Rocket Monsters joining CEDEN is a big deal
In Rocket Monsters, bears and other alien monsters use interstellar vehicles to travel throughout the game’s huge levels, and users engage in intense player-versus-player combat, and compete for loot in a dynamic open world setting. You can buy, sell, and trade all the characters, weapons, vehicles, and resources in the game just like any other digital item.
There are presently two playable alpha levels available in Rocket Monsters, with the complete playable beta open world experience coming soon. Galaxy Rendered’s Rocket Monsters is an original MMORPG with a focus on both player versus player and player versus environment gameplay. The massive NFT datasets now present in the ecosystem will be consolidated and expanded upon as part of CEDEN’s plan to refine and continue delivering Rocket Monsters’ existing roadmap.
Playable NFT vehicles dubbed Star Racers, player-owned land and shops, and a massive resource collecting system serving as the ecosystem’s core will all be introduced to the Rocket Monsters universe in preparation for the beta launch of the open world.
The purchase expands CEDEN Network’s CDN and gives CEDEN Mint Pass holders priority access to minting chances, airdrops, and rewards from games inside the ecosystem.
CEDEN has made two major partnership and investment announcements since its start two months ago. The companies acquired are the promising Brooklyn-based K11 UNLIMITED and the established Los Angeles-based Gammaker Inc.
