EURGBP traders will watch the Germany July retail sales data at 6:00GMT. The UK August Nationwide house prices data is due at 6:00GMT. The France August preliminary CPI figures will be released at 6:45GMT.  Next is the Switzerland August KOF leading indicator index due at 7:00GMT. UK July mortgage approvals, credit data will be out at 8:30GMT. Eurozone August preliminary CPI figures will be released at 9:00GMT. Italy August preliminary CPI figures and Italy Q2 final GDP figures will be released at 9:00GMT and 10:00GMT respectively.

In the North America calendar, Canada GDP m/m will be released at 15:30, while in US the PCE Price Index m/m is due at 12:30 and Michigan Consumer Sentiment will be out at 14:00.

During Asian trading session, the Japan Construction Orders (YoY) climbed from previous -4.2% to 26.9% in July, the Japan Housing Starts (YoY) came in at -4.1%, above forecasts of -5.4% for July.

Australia Building Permits (month over month) came in at -9.7%, below forecasts of 0% in July while the yearly reading was down to -28.5% in July from previous -25.6%

The Bank of Korea left its benchmark interest rate, unchanged at 1.50%.

The central bank of China set the Yuan rate (USDCNY) at 7.0879 at the lowest level in 11 years, versus yesterday fix at 7.0858.

Asian indices trading higher today after Wall Street indices ended higher.  EURUSD is trading 0.12% lower at 1.1044, the USDJPY is 0.15% lower at 106.35 while the AUDUSD is 0.20% lower at 0.6714.
