BORANETWORK, a METABORA subsidiary, has established BORA Alliance, a global collaborative for the gaming community. With the help of promising international gaming guilds and communities, the platform hopes to leverage the cooperative to spread the BORA ecosystem globally. The first companies to join the alliance are Ancient8 and GuildFi.
With the launch of the cooperative, BORANETWORK hopes to enhance the number of points of interaction between its users and the on-board games on BORA by employing a variety of collaborative marketing and advertising efforts. Additionally, the cooperative intends to aid in the development of the blockchain gaming business by regularly engaging a wide range of promising partners, thereby increasing interactions with key communities.
BORANETWORK has made a strategic move by forming partnerships with GuildFi and Ancient8. It aims to leverage the two companies’ stronghold in the Asia and Pacific regions to promote growth. To date, GuildFi has amassed over 280,000 members, making it the largest blockchain gaming guild in the Asia-Pacific region. They leverage web 3.0 technologies for community management and work with major investors like Defiance Capital, Coinbase, and Binance.
Meanwhile, Ancient8 is working on GameFi’s infrastructure, primarily focusing on the software and the community. Currently, the company oversees the operations of the most prominent blockchain gaming guild in Vietnam. Its main mission is to expand people’s access to social and economic opportunities within the Metaverse. Also, the platform delivers blockchain-based software, guild scholarship, blockchain education, high-quality academic research, and a vibrant community.
BNB Chain’s $1 billion Growth Fund has invested in GuildFi, speeding up the company’s efforts to realize its long-term goal of creating a Web3 ecosystem that brings together a wide variety of game platforms, NFTs, and communities. Conversely, Ancient8 has amassed a $10-million-dollar funding round from industry heavyweights like Pantera, Dragonfly, Hashed, Animoca, Mechanism, Coinbase, and Alameda.
Since gaming guilds carry a lot of weight in the industry, BORANETWORKS’ collaboration with the two platforms gives it a solid foundation on which to promote its games. In addition, the gaming industry has shown remarkable resilience in the face of a prolonged market slump that has now lasted for more than eight months. Thanks to P2E and M2E, the gaming industry now accounts for more than half of all blockchain usage.
